The Master's Program (TMP) founded by Bob Shank, has sessions occurring nationwide. Each area has one of the following dedicated Mentor Associates leading the program:
Bob Shank Founder, CEO and CMO (Chief Mentoring Officer) of The Master's Program
A native and lifetime resident of Southern California, Bob Shank spent 14 years as a businessman/ entrepreneur in the construction industry. In his thirties, he transitioned from his career in business to his calling in ministry and founded Priority Living, a faith-based organization serving businessmen and women in the marketplace. In 1997, he launched The Master’s Program, a leadership mentoring program that has helped thousands of leaders across North America to expose and exploit their own unique Kingdom calling. While the Founder/ CEO of Priority Living since 1984, Bob served as senior pastor at South Coast Community Church for four years in the early ‘90’s, helping to effect its merge back with Mariner’s Church in 1996.
Today, he is a frequent speaker for churches, conferences, retreats and leadership training events across the country as well as a consultant/advisor to leaders in businesses and organizations with an international footprint.
Bob serves 12 church, ministry and company boards of directors, including Samaritan’s Purse, the National Christian Foundation/Southern California, Gospel Light Publishers, Harvest Christian Fellowship, Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, The Barnabas Group, Reasons to Believe and Priority Living/dba The Master’s Program.
Bob and Cheri have been married since 1971 and have two adult daughters, two great sons-in-law and five near-perfect grandchildren. They all make their homes in Orange County, California.
Steve Stenstrom
TMP Mentor Associate and CEO of Kingdom First Ministries
The Master's Program in Menlo Park is now led by former NFL quarterback Steve Stenstrom, a graduate of TMP. When not mentoring TMP participants in his area, Steve spends his time leading PAO Ministries. Steve's mission in life includes living out what it means to be a good biblical neighbor and to love God by loving people. He and his wife Lori live in the Silicon Valley area and have three children.
Brian Dowd
TMP Mentor Associate and Founder of Next Step Coach
The Master's Program in Alamo is led by Brian Dowd, a two time graduate of TMP. When not mentoring Brian provides
executive coaching for leaders
with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for growth of God's Kingdom. Brian has been helping participants in The Master's Program maximize the value of their TMP experience and leverage it for results with their Kingdom leadership since 2006. He lives in Northern California with his wife Amber and two children.
Chris Hornibrook

Peter Henderson
TMP Mentor Associate
The Master's Program in Sacramento is led by Peter Henderson, a graduate of TMP. He has spent over three decades coaching men and their families to experience better Christian lives. His present work focuses on coaching men and families with wealth and high capacity so that they can be highly influential in promoting the mission of Christ throughout the world. As a Mentor Associate for The Master's Program in Sacramento, he is passionate about experiencing significant Christian lives with the men in the greater Sacramento area.
